Toyosu Manyo Club Review: I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of soaking in an onsen, surrounded by serene vibes and traditional Japanese culture. On my recent trip to Japan, I finally ticked that off my bucket list with an unforgettable visit to Toyosu Manyo Club in Tokyo. From start to finish, it was a mix of relaxation, discovery, and indulgence—and I’m here to tell you all about it!
Getting There: Stress-Free Travel with a Bonus Foodie Stop
One of the best things about Toyosu Manyo Club is how accessible it is. After a busy day of sightseeing in Tokyo, the thought of long commutes to a remote onsen didn’t seem appealing. Luckily, this spot is a breeze to reach—just a 4-minute walk from Shijo-mae Station.

But here’s the bonus: the onsen is located in the Toyosu Market area, which means you can plan a foodie adventure before or after your visit. Known for its fresh seafood and vibrant market culture, Toyosu is a paradise for food lovers. Imagine indulging in sushi or sashimi prepared by experts right at the source, then heading to the onsen for some well-deserved relaxation. It’s a combination that hits all the right notes!
As I walked towards the building, the calm energy was already setting in. The soft glow of lights and minimalist architecture gave a hint of the serene experience waiting for me inside.

Tokyo Toyosu Manyo Club Review: Immersive Traditions
The moment you step through the doors, you’re transported to a different world. One of the first things they’ll ask you to do is remove your shoes—a customary practice in Japan. It felt grounding and symbolic, like leaving behind the outside chaos and stepping into a tranquil sanctuary.
Then came one of my favorite parts: slipping into a Yukata, a traditional Japanese robe. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of designs—they have a variety of prints to choose from, so you can pick one that matches your vibe. Wearing the Yukata instantly made me feel connected to Japanese culture, and of course, I took lots of photos in the beautifully designed Senkyaku Banrai area. It’s the perfect blend of tradition and Instagram-worthiness!

Facilities Designed for Relaxation
The Wellness Area & Bedrock Bath
The Wellness Area and Bedrock Bath are like a warm hug for your body. Imagine lying on heated stone beds in a spacious room, surrounded by a calm ambiance. The gentle warmth seeps into your muscles, easing tension and inviting you to completely let go.
Here’s a fun fact: I didn’t expect to nap, but the coziness got the best of me. I dozed off for a good 20 minutes, and when I woke up, I felt like a brand-new person! It’s the kind of relaxation that stays with you for hours.

The Rooftop Garden
Next up was the rooftop garden, and let me tell you—this spot alone is worth the visit. It features a foot bath where you can dip your feet in warm water while enjoying a 360° panoramic view of Tokyo.
During the day, you’ll see a sprawling urban landscape with hints of greenery, but the real magic happens at night. The city lights transform the skyline into a dazzling display that feels straight out of a movie. I ended up visiting the rooftop garden twice because it was just that good. Pro tip: bring your phone or a camera for breathtaking shots of the view!

Game Room
If you’re traveling with kids, Toyosu Manyo Club has you covered. There’s a playroom area designed to keep the little ones entertained while you soak and relax. It’s a thoughtful touch that ensures the whole family can enjoy their time here.

The Relaxation Room: A Worthy Alternative to Staying Overnight
If an overnight stay isn’t part of your plans, don’t worry—you can still enjoy a prolonged visit thanks to the relaxation room. This space is perfect for those who want to linger a little longer without booking a room.
Here’s what you can expect: luxury reclining chairs that adjust to your comfort, personal TV screens so you can unwind with a movie or show, and cozy blankets that make it feel like your own little haven. Whether you want to nap, watch a favorite series, or simply enjoy the serene atmosphere, the relaxation room has you covered.
It’s an excellent alternative for anyone on a day trip or those who want to maximize their experience without committing to a full overnight stay. I personally spent a few hours here after the onsen, and it was the perfect way to round off the day.

The Star of the Show: The Onsen
Here’s what makes Toyosu Manyo Club’s onsen experience unique: the water is trucked in daily from the famous hot springs of Hakone and Yugawara, so you’re getting the real deal.
They offer both indoor and outdoor onsen options. The indoor baths are serene, with a quiet atmosphere that’s perfect for meditative relaxation. But the outdoor baths? Absolute heaven. Surrounded by fresh air and a subtle view of the city, it felt like I was in my own peaceful bubble. If you’re nervous about trying an onsen for the first time, don’t be—it’s an experience that’s as comforting as it is rejuvenating.

Staying Overnight: The Ultimate Treat
To make the most of our visit, we did book an overnight stay, and it was worth every penny. The accommodations were sleek, clean, and incredibly comfortable, offering hotel-level service. And of course, staying the night meant we got access to their incredible dinner and breakfast buffets.

Since Toyosu Manyo Club is located near Toyosu Market, the seafood is unbelievably fresh. We’re talking sashimi that melts in your mouth—unlimited salmon and tuna, anyone? I won’t lie, we went all out and enjoyed every single bite.
Even if you’re just visiting for the day, make time to try the food options available here. The flavors are a testament to the quality you’d expect from a spot so close to one of Japan’s most iconic seafood markets.
