Ascott BGC Review: If location is your top priority when choosing a hotel in BGC, Ascott Bonifacio Global City is difficult to beat.
The property is literally right beside a mall, around a three-minute walk from convenience stores, and only a few steps away from cafés and restaurants. We barely needed transportation during our stay because almost everything we wanted was within walking distance. As someone who plans trips around where I want to eat, that already earned the hotel several points from me.
Quick verdict: Ascott BGC is an excellent choice for travelers who prioritize location and spacious rooms. Its 43-square-meter Executive Studio comes with a kitchen, washing machine, dining area and workspace, making it particularly suitable for staycations, business trips and extended stays.
Ascott BGC Review
For this Ascott BGC review, we stayed in an Executive Studio, which turned out to be much larger than I expected. At 43 square meters, it is already spacious enough for you a family of four! Apparently, this is already one of their smallest accommodations.

More than its size though, I appreciated how the room felt like a proper serviced apartment. It had a washing machine, a fully functioning kitchen, a sofa, a dining space, and a dedicated work area. You could cook, work, do your laundry, and lounge around without feeling cramped. As in, hindi mo na kailangang lumabas, although with so many restaurants nearby, sayang naman.

The hotel’s gym was another pleasant surprise. It was large and had a good selection of equipment, making it feel more complete than the usual compact hotel gym. The swimming pool was decent, although nothing particularly fancy.

The spa, however, was easily one of the highlights of our stay. I tried the Swedish massage and would give the experience a solid 10/10. It was deeply relaxing and exactly what I needed after spending the day walking around BGC.
Breakfast offered a good variety of dishes, although the flavors were generally just okay for me. My tip is to arrive early while the food is still fresh and the dining area is less crowded.
What completed the experience was the service. We had several requests during our stay, and the staff members were consistently pleasant and happy to assist.
